A beautiful mess, indeed. This is how I have come to see the hopes and dreams of GOD being fulfilled: flowers pushing through the dirt, ugly things being made pretty, the kingdom of heaven given over to the poor, creativity and imagination defeating violence and war, and the beautiful collision when the depravity of man collides with the divinity of GOD: it all makes for an absolutely beautiful mess. I am discovering more and more what it is to be a wounded healer; a generous thief.
